Balerno Farmers Market, Saturday 9th July

Balerno Farmers Market is taking place this Saturday in Main Street. Come rain or shine our wonderful traders will be there, bringing with them a tempting selection of fresh fruit and veg, breads, cheese, fish and meats. Come along and join the fun between 9am and 1pm.

Friends of Main Street will be gardening in Main Streets flower beds and as always welcome help from any volunteers. No gardening experience is required and all tools are supplied by the friendly team. All you need to supply is yourself and a sturdy pair of shoes. All ages are warmly welcomed. Come along and help keep your village centre blooming beautiful all year round.

Harmeny Bikes will also be joining us on Saturday with a great range of bikes for sale. They’ll also be on hand with bike advice and repairs.

Arran Cheese – a large selection of flavoured cheddared cheese and biscuits
Cedar Cottage Country Foods – sausages, pies, meats (also bbq with some of their delicious burgers)
Columbian Coffee
Edward Collins Fish – fish and seafood sourced from the North Sea and North Atlantic
Harmeny Bikes –  bike repairs and sales
Harmeny Veg – locally grown vegetables
Khleb Sourdough – Beautiful breads handmade using a sourdough leaven
 New Caledonian Woodlands – homemade juices and perserves as well as handmade wooden items

Ethically sourced flavourful coffee
Salt Pig Sea Salts – a range of blended sea salts containing herbs and spices from around the world.
Scoff Foods – traditional Scottish street food and the fantastic tattie scone wraps
Wilsons of Musselburgh – a great choice of local, seasonal fruit and vegetables
