Apple Day and Farmers Market. Saturday 12th November.

The next Balerno Farmers Market will be running alongside our annual Apple Day on Saturday 12th November. All hail the mighty apple! We’ll have –

  • Our magnificent apple press – make your own apple juice

Balerno Apple Day

As well as all the apple madness we’ll also have entertainment, and a host of fantastic stallholders with fresh produce and great goodies to buy.

Stall holders for Saturday 12th November include –

Inspiring Children of Balerno – raising money for SSPCA
Katy Cloud Marshmallows – delicious and fluffy hand crafted gourmet marshmallows
Khleb Sourdough – Beautiful breads handmade using a sourdough leaven
Ma Roberts – authentic, natural East African sauces for cooking, dipping and spreading
Meta Mackenzie – Hand knitted hats, scarves and winter woolies
Monarch Venison – breeder of red and fallow deer, providing local fresh farmed venison
New Caledonian Woodlands – homemade juices, and perserves as well as handmade wooden items
Potty Perennials – a colourful variety of seasonal flower pots, plants and baskets
Scoff Foods – traditional Scottish street food and the fantastic tattie scone wraps
The Caffeine Fix – Ethically sourced flavourful coffee

Wilsons of Musselburgh – a great choice of local, seasonal fruit and vegetables
