Our March farmers market coincides with Balerno’s annual Tattie Day celebrations. Come on down to Main Street to enjoy our usual quality market stalls as well as lots of Tattie fun. We’ll have experts on hand to give tattie growing advice. Eight delicious varieties of organic seed tatties to purchase, as well as tattie growing sacks which are great if you’re limited for space.
There will also be hot food and live music as well as compost and onion sets for sale. Lots for the wee ones to do too with our children’s tattie craft table in Ogston Hall, face painting and our Best Dressed Tattie Competition (more to follow on that soon).
The farmers market begins at 9am, and Tattie Day from 10am so come on down to Main Street, Balerno and join in the fun.
Stallholders attending this Saturday include Arran Cheese, Cedar Country Country Foods, Falko Konditormeister, Scoff Foods, New Caledonian Woodlands, Tiphereth Trading, Edward Collins Fish and Linton & Co Artistan Coffee. We’ll also have plants for sale from Potty Perennials, bike repairs with Harmeny Bikes and information stalls from Pentland Hills Regional Park Ranger Service and the Village Trust.
See you on Main Street.
